CMG to Award $5,000-$10,000 Grant at Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival
We’re excited to announce a new partnership with the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival to award at least one $5,000-$10,000 grant for a project or campaign that uses video to create measurable action in ocean conservation or sustainable energy.
The grant pitch is open to applicants worldwide, including both individual filmmakers & organizations looking to produce a video as part of their programs. We distribute a limited number of Action Grants each year to catalyze the production & distribution of a short video or series of short videos with a clear and measurable call to action. We award these grants through partnerships with established conservation organizations and film festivals, such as the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival (JHWFF) & the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF); as well as through participation in our Catalyst Workshops.
JHWFF will be accepting applications on behalf of CMG from August 26 to September 4, 2015. A limited number of finalists will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with CMG commissioners during the festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Finalists must be available to attend the film festival between September 29 and October 1 for the pitch session. Travel support and festival passes are not provided.
