Mark C. Frevert is one of the foremost international travel experts in the U.S. with more than three decades of experience. He is an advisor to the travel entity Grand Circle Corporation, where he worked in an executive capacity for 27 years to expand the organization’s international reach. Under his leadership, Mark led Grand Circle’s efforts to build authentic, culturally rich itineraries that connect American travelers with people and cultures worldwide. He also helped to establish the charitable Grand Circle Foundation that since 1992 has donated or pledged more than $97 million to 300 humanitarian, cultural, and educational organizations, including 100 schools, in 50 countries.
Prior to joining Grand Circle, Mark was the director of New Ventures at Spencer Gifts, Inc., a consumer mail order company. Earlier, he was a director at a division of Deluxe, Inc., a Fortune 500 company.
Mark is an avid traveler, skier, swimmer, film buff, and reader. He is the father of his son Max and lives in Boston with his partner Phillipa.
